Amber’s Rose Is Blooming Larger Than Life: “I’m Not Ashamed Of What I’ve Done”
Amber Rose is the subject of a new Stylecaster feature where she talks about how she always knew she wanted to be famous, sacrificing her ‘Ports for the sake of a singing career and touring with Wiz and a bunch of babies!
On Her Aspirations:
“I always knew what I wanted,” she tells me as we settle into a cozy couch on the third floor of New York’s Ludlow Manor following an all-day shoot. “I remember hanging out with one of my girls [in Philly] when we were younger and talking about what we wanted to be when we grew up. She was like, ‘I want to get with so-and-so and have lots of babies,’ and I said ‘Well, I’m going to L.A. and I’m going to be famous.’ She just looked at me and told me I was trippin’.”

On Body Consciousness:
When it comes to her more revealing magazine and photo spreads, Rose insists she’s never been camera-shy. “I was born comfortable in my skin. It really doesn’t phase me.”
On Her Critics:
“I didn’t break any laws and I didn’t sell drugs to anyone’s mother,” she stresses emphatically. “I’m not ashamed of what I’ve done and I work hard every day. There’s always going to be people out there that assume the worst about me – if I fed into that I’d start to doubt myself.”
On Her Music Career:
“I showed Wiz some things I’d written down and he really encouraged me to pursue it,” she admits almost shyly. “I’m taking this really seriously – I even quit smoking just so I could improve my voice.” Her features tighten momentarily then relax with a careless shrug. “I already know when the first single drops the haters will have their own opinions, but my fans (almost 900,000 strong on Twitter who she refers to as her “rosebuds” and “rosestuds”) will be there for me.”
On Her Future:
“Acting, making music, getting married, being with Wiz on a tour bus with a bunch of babies,” she tells me beaming. “I even want to write a romance novel. There’s nothing I’m not afraid to try.”
On Marriage:
“[Wiz] and I call each other ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ all the time. When it happens it’ll be really low-key with just close friends and family.”
“We’re just homebodies,” Rose says of her relationship with rapper, Wiz Khalifa. “Most of the time we just stay in and watch movies and cook dinner together.”
Some Fun Facts:
Amber Rose is a secret Twilight fan. “It’s true,” she says with a giggle. “I was dying to see the latest movie.”
Ever the girlie girl, Rose insists she wouldn’t be caught dead in a t-shirt and sweats when her boyfriend is around. “Pretty lingerie — I’m sort of old-fashioned. I love frilly boy shorts and stuff like that.”

Jonah Hill Keeps Up With—and Slams—the Kardashians

Well, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

And it turns out, it's not just Daniel Craig who's apparently unmoved by the charm of the Kardashian family. Count newly minted SAG nominee Jonah Hill in his feud-sparking corner, too.
The big-screen funnyman wasn't kidding around this week when he let rip—and how—on the first family of reality TV.

Hill shared his thoughts on Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and the rest of the stars after he was asked by an interviewer about his comments made earlier this month in which he described Kim's divorce from Kris Humphries as "a roller-coaster of emotions" for himself and that he felt "duped" after taking the wedding journey with the former couple.

"That's all a joke," he told the Huffington Post. "The truth of it is, I have friends who work in TV and the Kardashians get higher ratings than their TV shows. Shows that people actually work hard on—writing and creating and trying to tell their stories. The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like Mad Men is disgusting."
Or simply proof that not every TV viewer shares Hill's perspective.

Still, as if that weren't enough, he continued on, lashing out not only at the family, but at the status they've reached in pop culture, as well.

"It's a super disgusting part of our culture, but I still find it funny to make a joke about it. Whenever I say I like reality TV, people write about it like they're in shock. I can't even understand it, so I watch it.

"I think it's funny and I definitely enjoy it in a making-fun-of-it sort of way, but where does the line sort of end? When do I stop making fun of it and become an actual fan?"

Well, despite Hill, actual Kardashian fans—like the more than 3 million viewers who tuned in to last Sunday's Kourtney & Kim Take New York—can take heart knowing that Barbara Walters thinks they're fascinating, as she includes the family on her ABC special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 airing tonight.

All Hail the Queen: Prince William and Kate Middleton Hitting the Road in Elizabeth's Honor

Prince William and Kate Middleton have their marching orders.
As one might expect with an undertaking of this magnitude, plans are already being made as to how the royal family will celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, marking her 60th year on the throne, in 2012.
They're...leaving town?

In honor of his grandmum, William and Kate will tour Malaysia, Singapore, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu next fall—all to spread the good word about the queen's milestone, which puts her time on the throne that much closer to Queen Victoria's all-time reign of 63 years and 216 days.
And while the happy couple are hitting up Asia, Prince Harry will be dispatched—the poor lad—to Jamaica, Belize and the Bahamas.

The Diamond Jubilee will also take Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to Canada, Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. Charles' siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew, will have specific royal travel itineraries in the coming year, as well.

Holding down the fort back in the ole United Kingdom, will be the lady of the hour herself and husband Prince Phillip, who will limit their travels to their royal stomping grounds.
IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP STUNTING YOUR EMOTIONAL GROWTH?

The scariest thing about being in a state of arrested development is that we can rarely see when we’re in it. Want to know why? Because it feels good. Because being allowed—even encouraged—to stay just where you are, not to grow, change, learn or push yourself feels good. They are called growing pains for a reason. And a little part of all of us wishes we could just opt out of those pains. And some of us do, by staying in relationships like these:
