Vergara put a whole new spin on ‘going green’ at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards
last night at Alice Tully Hall in New York City’s Lincoln Center.
The vivacious,
‘Modern Family’ star brought out her signature va-va-voom style in a gown by
Herve L. Leroux that surprisingly wasn’t strapless.
While the
hourglass silhouette was nothing new, the vivid, grassy colour and the
figure-flattering draping is what made this look seem like more of a standout.
It’s not
like Sofia to not slightly overdo things, and the CFDA Awards were no
exception. But there’s no better way to push the over-the-top embellishment
boundaries than with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
A collar of
emeralds and diamonds drew even more attention to the actress’s décolletage,
not that she needed help in this category, while matching earrings and a chain
finger-bracelet on each wrist provided more bling.
Long sultry
waves and a perfect burgundy-red pout completed this brunette bombshell’s
entrance.
