Michelle Obama In Wes Gordon – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Michelle Obama made a surprise appearance at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA on Saturday afternoon to present singer Taylor Swift with the ‘Big Help’ award.
The First Lady wore a Wes Gordon Spring 2012 tunic with silver metallic jeans.
Her Wes Gordon ¾ length sleeved tunic with a silver embellished houndstooth print is slightly modified from the version presented on the model; the plunge isn’t so deep and Mrs O has opted to turn down the collar.
Simple black pumps completed her look.
I think she found the right balance of looking event appropriate, age appropriate and stylish.

The First Lady attended the awards with her daughters Sasha (left) and Malia (right), who are perhaps a little closer to Nickelodeon's target audience

Kelly Osbourne looked elegant in a black one-shouldered cocktail dress

Keke Palmer In Marco Marco – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Keke Palmer joined in the fun on the orange carpet at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, in LA on Saturday afternoon.
She opted to wear a Marco Marco purple strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a detailed skirt.
Keke accessorized with a striped Judith Leiber clutch, gold Neil Lane jewels and black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
A side swept braided ponytail and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

Ashley Tisdale In Kymerah – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Ashley Tisdale joined many teen stars on the red carpet at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old actress wore a Kymerah handkerchief hem dress with two layers; one coral and the other had a black-and-white abstract print.
A black corset belt defined her waist whilst the rest of her accessories included stud earrings, black B Brian Atwood ‘Cassiane’ fringed sandals and a black Edie Parker clutch.
Is it me, or does this look feel quite dated?
Style-wise Ashley has pretty much stuck to a similar formula since her ‘High School Musical’ red carpet days.
Even the streak of red hair doesn’t move me.

Selena Gomez In Dolce & Gabbana – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Selena Gomez opted for a very sexy look on the red carpet for the 2012 Nickelodeon Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, held at the Galen Center in LA yesterday afternoon.
The singer wore a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 two-piece look.
Floral jacquard bustier top was teamed with a two-tone crystal embellished skirt.
She didn’t let us down in the footwear department as she opted for Cesare Paciotti two-tone pink-and-orange studded heels.
I love that Selena managed to find the perfect way of looking sexy without looking trashy.
Ariel Winter In Cynthia Rowley – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Kristen Stewart In Stella McCartney – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Taylor Swift In Maria Lucia Hohan – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Taylor Swift was honoured yesterday at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards with the ‘Big Help’ Award from First Lady Michelle Obama for her ongoing charitable work.
The singer accepted her award wearing a Maria Lucia Hohan ivory dress.
Her ballerina-inspired silk-satin halter bustier dress with a flowing pleated chiffon skirt was paired with gorgeous gold Nicholas Kirkwood sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
A braided updo, coral lips and a pop of colour via her blue nails completed her look.

Miranda Cosgrove In Porter Grey – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Miranda Cosgrove was the third star to opt for blue on the red carpet at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA on Saturday, following Kristen Stewart and Isabelle Fuhrman.
The ‘iCarly’ star opted for a Porter Grey blue sleeveless leather dress with a cut-out back.
Miranda’s shoe choice aren’t usually that great, but on this occasion I do like the black booties, as they works with the edgy nature of her leather dress.
Gold bangles, a gold Edie Parker clutch and sleek straight tresses completed her look.

Katy Perry In Gerlan Jeans – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
Katy Perry walked the orange carpet for the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA on Saturday afternoon.
She certainly got into the spirit of the event, as expected, by wearing a neon green slime crop top and a green slime print skirt with an asymmetric hem from the Gerlan Jeans Spring 2012 collection.
Katy matched her quirky ensemble with Prada neon green peep-toes, neon green stud earrings, and neon green bracelet.
I’m surprised she didn’t dye her hair green or wear a green wig for the occasion. Instead opted for a blue-and-purple streaked high ponytail with kohl rimmed eyes and a hot pink lip colour.
Whilst I won’t be adding this look to my BDOTY list, you can always rely on Katy to do something fun for these types of events.

Heidi Klum In Roland Mouret – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Lily Collins is astoundingly beautiful in sumptuous forest green and floral gown as she takes her Snow White tale to Paris.
With Mirror Mirror at a respectable third place at the box office in America, Lily Collins is busying herself with promoting her take on Snow White in Europe.
Today, the 23-year-old was using her alabaster skin, raven stresses and ingenue smile to try and persuade the French to take the camp romcom to their insouciant bosoms.
And the pretty daughter of Genesis legend and solo dynamo Phil Collins,61, upped her game to impress in fashion's capital city.
