Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger attended the X Factor UK press conference at the Corinthia Hotel in London yesterday afternoon which saw Nicole unveiled as the new judge.

I honestly thought the only people who still wore bandage dresses were Britney Spears and Tamara Ecclestone.

Tulisa’s yellow, white and grey Herve Leger dress has put me in a time warp when ‘The Hills’ was the most popular show on TV and when Victoria Beckham had the blonde pixie cut.

This look is so dated.

Nicole, who usually takes the crown for opting for dated looks, looked quite sophisticated wearing a Rafael Cennamo Fall 2012 dress.

Her white cap-sleeve dress with a plunging neckline was styled with platform ankle-strap peep-toes and a silver cuff.

I think it is safe to say that once again I will not be keeping up with the X Factor fashion this season.
