The diva is back! Mariah Carey slips her svelte figure into a dramatic black dress for a stunning stage performance
The
mother-of-twins flaunted her svelte figure in a tight-fitting one-shouldered
black dress, which clung to her body in all the right places.
The dramatic
hem at the bottom made the dress just that little more dramatic.
Her
31-year-old singer and TV star also looked fantastic, great to see after his
recent health scare.
Mariah
discussed the health problems on Good Morning America last week, and talked
about Nick being rushed to hospital with two blood clots on his lungs.
The latest
health scare of the America's Got Talent host came after he spent time in hospital
last year due to kidney failure, which has led him to quit hosting his New York
City radio hosting gig.
'Nick is
doing well,' Mariah told GMA host Robin Roberts. 'It's a very complicated thing
and I know he spoke on it himself.'
She added:
'I feel a little bit awkward because I don't know exactly what he was revealing
when he talked to people, but the best thing, I think, was his choice he made to
leave his radio show and concentrate on America's Got Talent and Up All Night.
'It was just
something that hit us really hard at the top of the year and we wound up in the
hospital.
'We ended up
in a couple of hospitals this year already. Now, he is doing better and the
thing is, he's a strong, healthy person and it's about changing the lifestyle.'
The Escape To Rewards event was broken into four gigs taking place in four different cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Orleans.
Diddy also performed at the New York City event this evening.
The event
was emceed by former Spice Girls singer Mel B.

And while
anything above a size zero may not be welcome at other Fashion Week location,
Mexico City is a different story.
Sports
Illustrated model Kate Upton has strutted her famous figure down the catwalk
overnight, showing off her killer curves in an array of sultry looks.
Curves on the catwalk: Kate Upton
struts down the runway at Fashion Week in Mexico City
The stunning
19-year-old, who has found overnight fame after gracing the cover of the
coveted Swimsuit Issue, looked worlds away from the malnourished models we are
used to seeing.
Kate showed
off her jaw-dropping cleavage in a plunging orange gown that set off her golden
tan and Brigitte Bardot locks.
The blonde
beauty earlier posed at Liverpool Interlomas to promote the Liverpool Fashion
Fest in Mexico city.
While Miss
Upton's healthy curves may not be runway-ready sample size, head of IMG Models
Ivan Bart recently hailed her as 'bigger than fashion'.
Kate's new
fame has come with a healthy attitude to her body. Shortly after being crowned
this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl, she told the NY Post:
''I never deprive myself. If I’m craving something once a week, then I’ll go
have it... Ice cream or whatever, I just eat the foods I like.'
'I have to
give credit to my trainer,' she added. 'He definitely kept me motivated in
staying in shape... I’ve always been naturally curvy, but of course I had to
get used to being in the public eye'.
Her training
sessions allowed the model to throw herself into her recent film shoot for the
new Carl's Junior ad campaign with aplomb.
The model
writhes on a car scantily clad as she devours one of the restaurant's burgers.
A friend of
the model's revealed that Miss Upton has succumbed to the pressure of the
industry.
'She’s not
your typical model,' the friend told the NY Post. 'She will eat anything. She’s
not assuming. She’s not into herself. She’s not very affected.'

Good girl gone bad: A tattooed,
dirt-covered Rihanna plays with big guns in Battleship movie poster
Although
it's been said that art imitates life, art is imitating art in Rihanna's case.
The
24-year-old singer seems to be channelling two of her own songs - Good Girl
Gone Bad and Hard - in the international poster for her big screen movie debut.
She
certainly looks tough, though still beautiful, in the snap.
The Bajan
beauty is covered in dirt and devoid of her usual glamorous hair, nails or
accoutrements. Instead, she trades in her bling and expensive purses for a
machine gun, and designer duds for army fatigues.
Her
character's love of tattoos has remained the same, though.
In reality,
the singer has fourteen tattoos, including an altogether different sort of
skull - one wearing a hair bow - on her ankle.
Rihanna stars
as US Navy officer Raikes in the film, which also stars Liam Neeson, Alexander
Skaarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Taylor Kitsch.
'I just want to pick films that are wise for me and roles that I can pull off, nothing that is too big for me.'
The movie
sees a group of international navy ships come under attack from an alien enemy
during an 'international naval war games.'
Talking about
her plans to make a name for herself in the movie business, Rihanna said in a
recent interview: 'I love doing movies now. It's something I want to do more
of.
Berg added: 'I've always believed in musicians as actors. I had great success with Tim McGraw in Friday Night Lights and The Kingdom.
'Musicians
have been acting since Frank Sinatra won an Oscar for From Here to Eternity.
'Barbra
Streisand, Kris Kristofferson, the late Whitney Houston, I thought, was
tremendous in The Bodyguard. As recently as Mariah Carey in Precious, she was
great.'
Battleship
is due for release in the US on May 18.
