Warrior queen Rihanna bounces back after health scare as she takes to the stage in a gold and leopard-print costume... then parties the night away

Less than a week ago she was bed bound with a drop in her arm suffering from exhaustion.

But the show must go on for RnB pop queen Rihanna, as she morphed into a gold warrior princess.

The Barbadian beauty took to the stage tonight at the Robin Hood Foundation Benefit in New York City wearing an eye-catching bustier, dramatic make-up and a theatrical snake headdress.

 The 24-year-old appeared to be on the mend, following her recent stint in hospital.

In the new issue of America's Star magazine, an inside source said: 'Rihanna loves to party but this past month she's gotten really out of control. She's been drinking almost everyday.'

Sofia Vergara can't stop beaming as she turns heads in a colourful maxi dress.

 She recently split from her boyfriend of two years but Sofia Vergara showed no signs of sadness yesterday.

Instead, the Modern Family star was beaming from ear to ear as she left a lunch with some friends in New York City.

And the 39-year-old ensured all eyes were on her in the streets of the Big Apple as she sported a head-turning outfit.

 

The Colombian beauty donned a colourful maxi dress in a tribal print which she teamed with an eye-catching neon yellow handbag.

The halterneck frock was teal, burgundy, and white in colour and clung just enough to display Sofia’s incredible figure.

The actress topped her outfit off with cork platforms, sunglasses, a chunky gold bangle and chandelier earrings.

This time we head to Germany for the ‘Men In Black 3’ Berlin premiere.

Jada Pinkett-Smith, who has been Will’s glamorous plus one so far during this promo tour, made way for Nicole Scherzinger tonight.

The singer, who stars in the movie, wore a purple Herve L. Leroux gown.

Her halter bandage gown with a sheer skirt is a surprisingly good look for Nicole; hugging her in all the right places.

It’s sexy without being too tacky or cheesy.

When it came to the ‘Choose One Rule’, she clearly opted for boobs.

Large hooped earrings and black heels completed her look.

she’s wearing. She’s like a mannequin. The 2012 Women Of Style Awards hosted by InStyle Australia was held at the Carriage Works earlier today in Sydney, Australia.

Miranda Kerr: The ‘Readers’ Choice’ winner stole everyone’s thunder by looking sensational wearing a Carla Zampatti gown. The pale-blue gown cut low at the back and front was styled with gold sandals and spectacular gold jewels. A red pout and simple ponytail completed her look. The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end.

Kate Ritchie: The former ‘Home and Away’ actress stunned once again wearing a Steven Khalil dress. The designer took a simple strapless dress and turned it on its head by adding dramatic pleats on the bodice, a half peplum and a gold metal waistband. A gold clutch and nude pumps completed her look. The only downside is her foundation which is too light for her complexion.

I’m not crazy about the bow-front peep-toes, but I do love her complementary woven Ferragamo clutch. The look would’ve been perfect for me had she worn Solange Knowles two-tone Ferragamo sandals.

 Recently I attended the Giorgio Armani Fall 2012 press preview.

Armani are known for their subdued colour palette, but I was welcomed by bright pops of orange, pink and lavender.

The beauty, as always, is in the detail.

Hand-embroidered red-carpet-worthy dresses hung from the racks alongside bow-accented colour-block dresses, sleek black dresses and an orange fur coat.

Below are close ups of the accessories, which we don’t get to see so clearly on the runway.

I love the embroidered clutches, the beaded necklaces and the colourful totes.

The Voice judge, who is in the city for NBC’s Upfront Presentation, started out the day in her spikey silver stilettos as she stepped out with boyfriend Matt Rutler.

 The 31-year-old later opted for comfort over style by swapping into a pair of flip flops when she reported for mommy duty with son Max.

She wore a bold print dress for the outing along with a leather jacket, black shades and lashings of her trademark red lipstick.

Meanwhile, it seems the star ended the season in hot water with her bosses, getting  fined for being 'consistently about two hours late' to the set of The Voice.

Charlize Theron was radiant as she stepped out onto the red carpet for the ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ premiere in London’s Leicester Square tonight.

No surprises that she wore a Christian Dior Couture gown.

The sleeveless sheer Couture gown from the Spring 2012 collection was worn with a black hotpants instead of the nude hotpants we saw on the runway.

I’m glad the sheerness was kept for the top half of the look, otherwise it would’ve lost most of its mystique.

A black Dior clutch, black sandals, a 1950′s inspired French roll hairstyle, emerald Solange Azagury Partridge jewels, and smouldering smoky eyes complete her look.

                          Rihanna’s Top 5 Backless Moments.

Rihanna is having a love affair with the backless gown. Lately, her typical red carpet attire involves a plunging or cutout back that accentuates her toned booty.  She collaborated with Giorgio Armani to create a raven gown inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in Scarface earlier this year.  And the winter white dress she wore to the Los Angeles Battleship premiere sat just inches from her backside.  But can we really blame Rih Rih for wanting to show off her assets?  We love when she’s around, but these backless dresses make us love to see her leave.

Despite the mild weather, she was dressed for summer wearing a House of Holland Spring 2012 dress.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge opted to belt her drop-waist ombre leopard-print silk mini dress with a pleated hem.

Her dress is stunning, but the shoes……oh my, the Kirkwood shoes are amazing.

It’s not often I’m so blown away by such excellent styling. The Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Cage’ sandals deserve a spot on the BDOTW by themselves.

Whoever is styling Alesha these days deserves a raise and a pat on the back as her look is so much more refined and covetable.
