Is Heidi Klum divorcing Seal because of his hard partying? New claims singer was 'off the rails'

New claims have emerged that Heidi Klum is divorcing her husband Seal because of his hard partying.

Hollywood's golden couple and their management are still yet to comment on yesterday's reports of a split, but a source has said their relationship was in trouble because the singer was 'off the rails'.

The tension is believed to have started when the pair holidayed with their three children, and Heidi's daughter from a previous relationship, in Ibiza in August.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: 'They were always the couple everybody strived to be but lately it all started to change.

'Seal seems to have been partying a lot more often than usual.

'When they had their holiday in Ibiza last summer, Seal hit it hard, was out at clubs and with his friends a lot and Heidi was left with their kids trying to enjoy herself. The cracks were appearing and everybody was talking during that trip. He seemed off the rails.'

The insider added: 'They've spent a lot of time apart too on work assignments and that hasn't helped matters.

'Then when Seal came back to the UK to do promotional work for his next album, he seemed sleepy and not with it on shows like Loose Women, when he was very late for his appearance.'

German-born Heidi, 38, is reportedly expected to file papers at Los  Angeles’ County Superior Court this week citing irreconcilable differences between the pair who  married at Seal’s beachfront home in Mexico in 2005.

A spokesman for Seal, 48 – real name Seal Henry Samuel – did not return calls but a cryptic message posted on the singer’s Twitter page on Friday read: ‘The End.’

The message was attached to a picture that appeared to show the star’s forearm bearing an imprint of a set of wings – a possible reference to Miss Klum’s role as a Victoria’s Secret winged ‘Angel’ model.

The split paves the way for a multi-million-pound divorce battle between the golden couple.

They have three children together – Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two – as well as Miss Klum’s daughter Leni, seven, from a previous relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.

Heidi, one of the world’s most in-demand models, is reported to have earned more than £12 million in the past year alone.

Seal, who is best known for his Kiss From A Rose single, has sold more than 20 million albums and won three Brit Awards and three Grammys in a career spanning 20 years.

The couple own a home in Mexico and an £8.4 million mansion in Los Angeles. Yesterday there was no sign of them at the LA house, which is set in an exclusive gated community in Mandeville Canyon, in the Hollywood Hills.

 Their neighbours include Hollywood actor Ben Affleck and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.

A guard at the house said: ‘They’re not saying anything.’ Asked if the couple were inside the property, he replied: ‘I think so. I’ve seen him.’

On Wednesday, Seal was in London to pre-record a performance of his new single Backstabbers for Jonathan Ross’s ITV chat show, which was broadcast last night.

Miss Klum was alone as she attended the Golden Globes awards in Hollywood last Sunday.

News of the split comes just weeks after the couple posed, apparently happily, for a photo on a skiing holiday in Colorado.

French actress Vanessa Paradis has spoken about feeling ‘in the depths of myself’ as her 14-year relationship with Hollywood star Johnny Depp is said to be on the brink of collapse.

Miss Paradis hinted at the strains on her in real life in interviews to promote her latest film.

The star, 39, who has two children with the Pirates Of The Caribbean star, was in Paris promoting Cafe De Flore, in which she plays a single mother.

The actress, who did not refer to Depp by name, claimed she didn’t believe in marriage or soulmates because ‘if you lose your soulmate everything is done for’.

She went on: ‘Cafe De Flore speaks of love, its joys, its pains and its dramas – to love and to lose. This story upset me, I was upside-down, in the depths of myself.’

She added: ‘The idea of a soulmate is beautiful and very romantic to talk about it in a movie or a song, but in reality, I find it scary.’

On Thursday the star cut a despondent figure as she shopped for DVDs including The Seven Year Itch on the Champs Elysees.

She is staying with her family in Paris while Depp, 48, who made an appearance at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles last week, is believed to have moved into a 29-room castle in Hollywood.

According to a new report by the highly respected publication People magazine, their relationship has been rocky for quite some time.

It follows several reports that the pair's relationship is on the rocks.

A source told Radar Online: 'Johnny isn't handling anything well right now.

'People around him are worried about how Johnny is doing because he and Vanessa seem so fractured right now. Their relationship is heading toward the end.'

The source claimed: 'Johnny has started reaching out to lawyers, probably to quietly discuss how to get out of the relationship.

'They're not married but they've been together for years and have kids together so it isn't as easy as just breaking up. Johhny is so talented at acting, but he doesn’t seem able to hide how badly things are going right now.'

But when Lindsay Lohan went shopping yesterday, her see-through attire failed to get her off any kind of infringement.

The Playboy cover girl returned back to her Porsche Cayenne only to find she had not one but two tickets on her windshield.

The 25-year-old actress gave onlookers quite the eyeful as she went shopping in Beverly Hills, bra-less and wearing a completely transparent black T-shirt.

Lindsay, who is currently on probation stemming for a misdemeanor grand theft charged in connection to a stolen $2,500 necklace, had been shopping at XIV Carats, an upscale jewellery store.

She emerged from the store clutching just one small shopping bag.

Lindsay paired her risque black blouse with a pair of skinny indigo jeans, an olive green leather jacket and chocolate colored ankle boots.

She accessorised with a gold-buckled Hermes belt and a soft pink leather handbag.

Her outing comes as Lindsay is on target to complete her supervised court probation in just over 10 weeks, a judge said last week.

Praising the troubled star for adhering to her strict community service and therapy schedule, Judge Stephanie Sautner said she was heading for a completion date of March 29th.

 'Keep doing what you're doing. You appear to be doing it well,' Judge Sautner told the actress during a five-minute hearing in Los Angeles, California.

The probation officer has written a favourable report, as has the volunteer centre.'

'You are on schedule for the completion date of March 29th, the judge added.

Judge Sautner told the court the 'Mean Girls' star had successfully completed her latest string of 12 community service days and four therapy sessions.

'I'm pleased to say she's done it all on schedule,' the judge said.

Lohan had been due to reappear at court for a further hearing on February 15th, but Judge Sautner explained the court was not sitting that day.

 'The court will be dark on February 15th. We will meet on February 22nd,' she said.

'By February 22nd you are to do 15 days of community service and five therapy sessions.'

The actress whispered 'thank you' as Judge Sautner told her to keep up her good work.

In November last year, Lohan admitted violating her probation in a DUI case and a theft case by failing to show up for community service appointments and therapy.

She was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, but only spent around five hours at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, largely due to jail overcrowding.

Judge Sautner technically sentenced Lohan to 300 days behind bars, but said 270 of those would be stayed as long as she adhered to a strict community service and therapy schedule.

At a hearing last month, the judge praised Lohan for meeting her initial requirements - performing 12 days of community service at the LA County morgue and attending four psychotherapy sessions.

The actress now has until February 22nd to complete another 15 days at the morgue and five more therapy sessions.

After that, she has until March 29 to perform 14 more days of community service at the morgue and attend another five therapy sessions.

If Lohan adheres to the schedule, her probation in the 2007 DUI case will terminate at the end of March. Her probation in the theft case will be downgraded to summary, non-supervised probation.

It was on May 11 last year that Lohan pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor grand theft charge involving a $2,500 gold necklace that was pilfered from a boutique in Venice, California.

She was placed on three years' probation, ordered to spend 120 days in jail and told to complete the 480 hours of community service she had previously been sentenced to for violating her probation in the 2007 DUI case.

She was ordered to have her 480 hours of community service completed by April 2012, doing 360 hours at the women's centre in downtown LA and another 120 hours at the county morgue.

Meanwhile, Lohan may have a rival for the coveted role of Elizabeth Taylor in a Hollywood biopic about the late screen legend.

Megan Fox is now in the running to play the actress in the TV movie about her life and marriages to Richard Burton.

Fox, 25, who bears a striking resemblance to a young Taylor, is understood to have already met with the producers of the film.

'I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox,' Larry Thompson, the executive producer of the film.'It's a very serious selection,;' Thompson adds. "It's like casting for Hollywood royalty.
