Here comes young Hollywood! Vanessa Hudgens and Demi Lovato don slinky gowns as they lead the glamour at People's Choice Awards

They have found fame as Disney starlets but last night Vanessa Hudgens and Demi Lovato proved they have come of age.

The pair stepped out onto the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards tonight looking every inch Hollywood royalty.

Vanessa, 23, looked stunning in a gorgeous webbed style black Jenny Packham dress with a plunging neckline and backless detail.

The black dress added extra glamour with gold spiderweb detail and a flowing train.

The former High School Musical star teamed the dress with gold drop earrings and a Judith Leiber bag.

               Vanessa knew exactly how to pose on the red carpet.

While Vanessa has appeared inseparable from her boyfriend Austin Butler in recent weeks, she appeared to have left him at home, choosing to walk the red carpet at LA Live alone.

Former Disney star Demi Lovato looked equally stunning in a peach coloured dress by Marchesa which showed off her curves to perfection.

The low cut ensemble boasted beaded detail around the bodice a figure hugging skirt as well as s sheer elegant train.

Demi teamed the dramatic dress, which showed off her womanly figure, with a hard 

glittering clutch and gold peep-toe heels.

The 19-year-old looked extremely mature in her dramatic ensemble.

 The 23-year-old looked ready to join a street dance lesson with the cast of Fame in her ripped jeans and baggy hooded sweatshirt.She teamed the just-picked-up-what-I-could-find-on-my-bedroom-floor outfit with a black heeled boots and her trademark curls beneath the cap.

The Barbadian beauty watched as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Miami Heat with a final score of 95-89 at Staples Center in California.

She dutifully signed a little boy's basketball programme, spending time talking to the young fan next to her.

Rihanna was also clocked eyeing up the cheerleaders, with a distinctly unimpressed look as if to say 'my stage show is better than yours'.

According to The Mirror, the two stars have made a deal to record together when Rihanna visits the UK next month for the BRIT Awards.
