Beyonce stans just got an unexpected surprise. According to
several reports, Bey will hit the stage in February 2013 to headline the Super
Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.
The official
announcement is expected Wednesday, the source said.
For the next
several months, fans will speculate on which megahits Beyonce will showcase
during halftime (I’m guessing ‘Single
Ladies’ will get some play) and who will be her special guests.
Her hubby
Jay-Z might show up for a “Crazy In Love” duet, Lady Gaga could pop in, or we
might even see a Destiny’s Child reunion.
Despite
taking it easy this past year while she settled into motherhood, it’s clear
that next year—with a new album in the works and a possible world tour on the
menu–Beyonce plans to take over the game yet again.
