It’s almost
Father’s Day which means it’s a good time to show some love to the men who
haven’t let their style slip just because they’ve added a few new members to
the family. In most cases, children are what seems to have upped these men’s
sense of fashion because as they grew up to accept their responsibilities as a
father, their style grew more sophisticated as well. All we can say is we
appreciate the eye candy. Here are five dads we love to see dressed to the
nines on the red carpet.
Dwyane Wade
T.I.
Remember
when Jay-Z said his suit should thank him? That’s what D. Wade should say.
Better yet, we’ll thank it for him. We’re used to seeing this Miami Heat player
in a basketball uniform but the minute he steps off the court and get his GQ on
in a well-tailored suit, we swoon. It doesn’t hurt that he’s such a proud
single father to two boys either.
Idris Elba
You knew
he’d be here right? Dressed down or dressed up, Idris has yet to have a fashion
misstep, whether he’s on the red carpet or DJing at a club. He must have a good
tailor because everything fits him immaculately and we doubt his little girl
would ever be embarrassed to step out with him in public.
You don’t
have to have on a suit to look good, although T.I. rocks those nicely as well.
But we appreciate his dressed-down looks which always have just enough polish
to show us he’s still true to Atlanta at heart, just with a bit of an upgrade
six kids later.
Will Smith
Will’s still
doing it for us. And though his kids’ style sometimes makes us scratch our
heads, Mr. Smith is always on point, much like his wife, Jada, we might add.

rapper has always had a sophisticated street style about him and it’s only
gotten better with time. It’s hard to believe he’s the father of a 15-year-old
girl, but that’s because 40 looks so good on him.
