Did she nearly fall out of her dress? Jennifer Lopez wears not one but two VERY revealing gowns at the Oscars
She may not
have featured in a film this year but that didn’t stop Jennifer Lopez from
making an enormous impact at the Oscars.
Jennifer
stepped out in her trademark plunging gown in a Zuhair Murad dress which hugged
her curvy figure to perfection.
But as the
singer took to the stage alongside Cameron Diaz to present an award she
appeared in danger of falling out of her shimmering gown.
However, the
star's stylist Mariel Haenn has defended the gown and has insisted that she
didn't have a wardrobe malfunction.
'The dress
fit perfectly to every inch,' she told People magazine. 'While the dress did
give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw
something!'
Cameron and Jennifer were seen

The
42-year-old singer looked great as she arrived at the awards ceremony showing
off her Zuhair Murad dress;
The Oscar quick-change artists: The
stars who went from red carpet to ready-to-party... but which outfits worked
best?
She looked a
dream in cream for the Oscars earlier in the evening - but Cameron Diaz
squeezed deliciously into orange to party at the Vanity Fair bash following
last night.
The
actress's Gucci gown, which boasted a simple basque with a dramatic train,
seemed to show her minimal curves to great effect, but the Bad Teacher star
truly dazzled in a Victoria Beckham design at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
And she
wasn't the only one who made a quick-change for the after-party, with Jennifer
Lopez, Emma Stone and Irina Shayk among those who opted for a second gown to
hob-nob late into the night.
The
39-year-old star modelled the very bright dress on the red-carpet and found
herself sharing a joke with tennis player Venus Williams as they both posed for
the cameras.
Cameron
accessorised the slinky gown with a simple snakeskin clutch and a pair of
oversized diamond chandelier earrings.
She kept her
make-up simple as she had before and her blonde crop stayed in it's chic blown
out style.
Inside
Cameron mingled with her fellow A-list friends, including Kate Hudson who
looked simply ravishing in a red fringed and beaded gown which featured a
daring plunging back.
She had
earlier arrived on the arm of her fiance Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.
The two
ladies cuddled up for a snap as Cameron appeared to be enjoying a glass of wine
and Kate champagne.
The 37-year-old star kept her usual serious face in tact as she arrived at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood with her footballer husband David.
As the
British couple posed for photographers before heading inside, they appeared to
be in very different moods with David laughing as he followed his wife.
The
stone-coloured garment was completed with a black leather waist belt and not
much else.
Kate Bodworth and Michael Polish only
had eyes for each other.
Jennifer Lopez introduces boyfriend Casper Smart to her celebrity friends at Vanity Fair party;
The stunning
singer nuzzled into her younger beau as the couple posed for pictures.
In return he
tightly wrapped his arm around Jennifer's waist, looking like the cat that got
the cream.
And it's no
wonder why.
And the
American Idol judge was certainly happy to see him.
The back-up
dancer has enjoyed trips all around the world, including romantic getaways to
Mexico, Morocco and most recently, Rio De Janerio for Carnival.
The fact
that Jennifer has now introduced her younger boyfriend to the celebrity world
is just another sign that things are getting more and more serious between the
pair.
Meanwhile,
Jennifer made an enormous impact at the Oscars this year.
WOOW SO WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE IS ANGELINA JOLIE;
While the
36-year-old sashayed down the red carpet before the ceremony, stealing the
spotlight from Best Actor nominee Brad Pitt with her leg-baring antics, social
networking sites were quickly heating up with thousands of comments about
'Angie's right leg'.
The limb in
question quickly became a trending topic on Twitter, with users debating over
her enviably trim thigh, the slightly awkward and over-enthusiastic pose, and
joking about the emphasis on her right leg in particular.
'Rainman
would have no problem counting Angelia Jolie's leg,' one Twitter user joked,
while another added: 'Fun fact: Angelina Jolie only shaved her right leg
tonight.'
It wasn't long
before a parody Twitter account called 'Angie's Right Leg' had been set up,
declaring, 'I'm a leg, get a load of me!' and 'You have to admit I'm one hell
of a leg!'
So far the
account has attracted over 15,000 followers.
And if fans
thought they had seen the last of the limb when the awards ceremony commenced,
they were certainly wrong.
Perhaps
already informed of the hoopla by her people, or simply enjoying the attention,
the actress continued to pose up a storm when she took to the stage to present
an award.
Walking
onstage to present the gong for Best Adapted Screenplay, Angelina stopped at
the microphone for several seconds with her hand on her hip and that leg on
full display again.
With wolf
whistles and cheering from the audience, Jolie giggled at the reaction before
continuing with the presentation.
But not
everybody was as taken with Angelina. The screenwriters for The Descendants,
who won the award, were quick to mock her as they accepted the award.
While
Alexander Payne, who also directed and produced the film, made his speech,
fellow screenwriters Nat Faxon and Jim Rash mimicked Jolie's pose in an
exaggerated fashion, drawing laughs from the audience.
Ryan Seacrest fails to see the funny
side as Sacha Baron Cohen's fake dictator pours ashes of King Jong II all over
his tuxed.......Scroll down for video.
Sacha Baron
Cohen used the Oscars to pull off yet another audacious publicity coup to
promote his latest movie, The Dictator.
Initially
banned by the Academy from pulling such a stunt, bosses finally relented and
allowed the British comedian to take to the carpet dressed as General Aladeen,
who promptly tipped an urn containing
'the ashes of Kim Jong II' over a furious Ryan Seacrest.
Cohen was
quickly bundled away from the angry E! presenter in an unceremonious fashion.
But what he lacked in dignity he made up for in humour.
Flanked by
sexy military assistants carrying flowers, Sacha Baron Cohen's antics were a
massive hit with everyone apart from his po-faced victim.
Cohen's
latest creation received the biggest cheer of the night, and made himself the
hottest topic of conversation in a matter of mere seconds.
Stars like
Tina Fey waited in line to pose by the powder, and over at the Vanity Fair bash
- Olivia Wilde mentioned in an interview that she hoped Cohen would bring the
ashes to the party later.
It all
started tamely for Seacrest when asked: 'Who are you wearing?'
Cohen
replied gamely: 'I'm wearing John Galliano, but the socks are from K-Mart! As
Saddam Hussein once said to me, socks are socks, don't waste money.'
Aside from Seacrest, everyone loved
Cohen's antics but he was forced to ditch the powder immediately lest he
sprinkle any other stars
Then he
appeared to stumble and poured the contents all over Seacrest's Burberry suit.
The mixture,
which turned out to be Bisquik pancake mix, coated Seacrest quite liberally,
and he didn't see the funny side.
