'I am not dating Mark Sanchez': Kim Kardashian denies romance with American footballer and 'model Kate Upton's squeeze'

Rumours emerged today that they were secretly seeing each other while he was said to be dating Victoria's Secret model Kate Upton.

But Kim Kardashian had quickly denied that she is dating American Footballer Mark Sanchez.

The 31-year-old reality star took to her Twitter account to set the record straight. 

In fact she said that she doesn't even know the sportsman.

She wrote: 'Dating rumors are always fun when u don't even know the people your supposedly linked to! Who makes this stuff up!'

Rumours that Kim was moving on following the breakdown of her 72-day marriage to basketball player husband Kris Humphries by dating the New York Jets player emerged today.

They came after the NFL star was said to dating Victoria’s Secret Model Kate Upton.

Website Strawberryicecream.com reported that the fact that Sanchez was involved with somebody else didn't stop him from indulging in secret meetings with Kim in New York.

The website claimed a source said: ‘They are very careful with not being seen together, Mark is seeing someone!’

 The informant added: ‘Kim and Mark like to meet in hotels for dinner dates and ‘flings’. Whenever Kim is in New York, they hang out.’

The website also claims that Kim and Mark were planning a rendezvous for the Super Bowl weekend.

A representative for Kim also denied allegations that Kim is dating the quarterback.

 The reports are unlikely to be well-received by 19-year-old Kate, who has been linked to the sports star since December.

According to the New York Post, Sanchez has frequently been spotted arriving at the model’s home late at night.

A source told the Post in December: 'They never come in together. He’s always five steps after her.'

The quarterback has dated a string of beauties, including Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Hilary Rhoda, since he rose to fame when joining the New York Jets.

In the summer of 2011 he was linked to Heroes star Hayden Panettiere, although the blonde denied they were romantically involved at the time.

       It was reported in December that Mark was frequenting Kate's apartment late at night;

She told Us Weekly: 'I swear I'm not dating him at all. Honestly. I'm a huge Jets fan and became very good friends with him and his buddies.

'There's genuinely, absolutely nothing going on. I've always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends. I'm into sports so we have a lot in common, but no, definitely 100% not dating.'

Kim found herself in hot water earlier this month after Amber Rose claimed the reality star was the reason behind her split from Kanye West.

The model claimed that Kim, who was dating Reggie Bush at the time, began an affair that led her and the rap star to break up.

She said: 'She's a homewrecker! They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.'

  And she said that Kim instigated the affair by sending sexy pictures of herself to him as well as calling and texting him.

Amber added: 'She was sending pictures, and I was like, "Kim, just stop. Don’t be that person".'

She said she also emailed the socialite asking her for an explanation but was disappointed not to get a reply.

She said: 'I thought at least she’d be woman enough to respond to me.  She never responded.

'It’s very important that us women stick together and we don’t f*** each other over like that.'

 He may have impressed the judges on Dancing With The Stars, but Rob Kardashian isn't the only twinkle toes in the family.

Khloe Kardashian posted some photos on her blog showing herself, husband Lamar Odom, Kim and the rest of the reality TV clan taking line-dance lessons during their trip to Dallas, Texas last week.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared more than 50 pictures with her fans.

 Her mother Kris Jenner and her sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian can all be seen taking instructions on how to do the popular dance.

Khloe and Lamar happily took to the floor but her brother Rob - who was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars - seemed to prefer the sidelines.

The basketball wife wrote on her blog: 'Hi dolls! Last week Kourt, Kim and my mom came to visit me, Lamar and Rob in Dallas so we decided to take them out on the town and show ‘em how it’s done in Texas!'

 She went on to say: 'We love exploring fun local activities that we’ve never done before, so we decided to try line dancing at Red River Ranch. It was a blast!!!!

'We all thought Rob was going to be a pro because of DWTS but he was actually really bashful about it!

'Kourtney was his dance partner, and then Kourt and Lamar were paired up for a second which was hysterical because of their size difference...We were all dying.'

 Obviously impressed with her own dancing skills Khloe then wrote: 'Not to toot my own horn, but Lamar and I were actually really good.

'Looks like we found our Saturday night activity! ;)'

Kim also apparently thinks the couple have impressive line-dancing skills.

Last week she posted a message on her Twitter page telling her followers about the family outing.

The 31-year-old wrote: 'Just went line dancing with the whole Fam! Khloe & Lamar were on fire!'

The nude pink ensemble highlighted her curves to perfection as she stepped out for dinner at Zuma with her best friend Jonathan Cheban by her side.

Kim has been pictured hitting the gym frequently in recent weeks and it appears whatever she is doing is working.

The reality star teamed the dress with matching peep toe heels and a hard clutch bag and had her newly-dyed tresses tumbling down around her shoulders.

Kim showed off a fake tan disaster earlier in the day when she stepped out with patched on her hands.

Ahead of her dinner Kim tweeted a picture of herself to her Twitter claiming she took it to check on her make-up.

The reality star drew attention to an apparent white spot on her face which appeared in the photo but not in real life she claimed.

While Kim has been spending increasing time with Jonathan whose sexuality was questioned on her reality TV show, it has been claimed that Kim is secretly dating NFL star Mark Sanchez.
