Katy Perry ditches her blue hair for wild ginger ringlets as she makes hilarious cameo on US series Raising Hope

She's known for constantly updating her look, and has experimented with blonde, black, pink and most recently blue hair over the past year.

And now Katy Perry has gone for a completely new look, wild ginger curls.

But luckily, the new 'do is just a wig the 27-year-old singer dons for her cameo role in the hit US TV series Raising Hope.

But despite her orange curls in Raising Hope, in real life Katy still has her bright blue locks, as she showed while promoting her false eyelashes line, Eyelure, at the Americana shopping centre in Glendale, CA yesterday.

Driving up in a classic blue car, she emerged wearing a two-tone blue dress with a black ribbon around her waist.

The ktischy, form-fitting frock also happened to match her Smurf blue hair, as did her blue suede bow-tied stilettos.

Talking recently about the Eyelure range, a spokesperson for the company said: 'We're really excited to be working with Katy Perry as her natural style and personality are a fantastic fit for the brand.

'As a false-lash lover, Katy had a very clear idea of what she wanted to achieve and was involved in every step of the design process.

'We were keen to create a range of lashes that were a direct extension of her own style. We are very pleased with the results.'

  

While Katy is finding success in both the beauty and television markets, it was also announced yesterday that Katy has entered the Billboard Music Charts at the number one position with her new single Part Of Me, after performing the song at the Grammy Awards on February 12.

The track, off her Teenage Dream deluxe edition CD The Complete Confection, is only the 20th song in history to do so.

It is the 7th number one single of her career thus far.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, the track had 411,000 downloads in its first week, making it the best sales week of her career.

She was attending the Global Green party complete with AstroTurf in the place of a red carpet.

The annual charity event was held at Avalon nightclub in Los Angeles and is held every year in the run up to the Oscars in a bid to help support green schools and communities.

Actress Kat Graham was also in attendance at the star-studded bash, wearing a black top, skirt and creeper platform shoes while carrying a leopard print clutch.

The ad reads: 'Musician and actress Courtney Stodden is currently seeking dancers and extras for her upcoming music video production taking place in Hollywood, California.

'With nearly 7,000,000 views on YouTube, this is your opportunity to star side by side with one of the internet's biggest pop culture sensations.'

Courtney, who describes herself as a 'recording artist' on her Twitter page, was spotted heading to a recording studio last month on Doug's arm.

 During her studio session on she could be found sentences such as:

‘While hardcore hits dominate my every move - I suddenly strip - & jump on top of a sexy sports car as I begin to wash it uncontrollably!’

She later added more suggestive words: ‘Smoothly shooting whipped cream into the erotic air and watching it as it lustfully lands on all the right places of my candy-coated body...’

Courtney has been desperate for stardom for several years.
