The Queen Bee is in the dog house with the tax man: Rapper Lil' Kim said to owe the IRS $1M

With a career spanning almost two decades, rapper Lil' Kim has made millions.
But it appears the 37-year-old has apparently forgotten to fork over a percentage of her earnings to Uncle Sam.
According to TMZ, Kim owes an astounding $1,026,862.42 in back taxes to the US Internal Revenue Service.
It's apparently not the first time the Grammy winner, who goes by the nickname The Queen Bee, has faced tax troubles.
Documents filed with the Los Angeles Recorder's Office show the rapper – whose real name is Kimberly Jones – owes back taxes every year from 2002-2009.
The amount for 2009 of $86347.85, was just recently added -- bringing her total $1,026,862.42.
The rapper-turned-actress broke into the music business in 1994, as part of the group Junior M.A.F.I.A., which was a protegé of the late American rapper Notorious B.I.G.
Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s first and only album was titled Conspiracy, spawned three hit singles, which helped Kim launch her solo career.
Over the years, she had a string of hits and won a Grammy Award for the remake of Lady Marmalade, which she co-wrote and performed with Christina Aguilera, Mya, and Pink in 2001.
Kim served a year long prison sentence in 2005 for lying to a jury about her friend's involvement in a shooting four years earlier.
The rapper then made her return to the spotlight in 2009 with a stint on Dancing with the stars.
She is currently working on a new album and hopes to make a comeback, although there is no word on a release date.

Has Russell Brand found himself a New Girl? Comedian 'sets his sights' on Katy Perry lookalike Zooey Deschanel
He most certainly has a type, if reports are to be believed.
Just months after Russell Brand and Katy Perry announced they were divorcing, the comedian is said to have set his sights on another stunning brunette - who is the spitting image of his estranged wife.
The 36-year-old funnyman is said to be determined to woo New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel, who filed for divorce from her husband Ben Gibbard just three days before Russell and Katy's split announcement.
A source told America's OK! magazine: 'Russell has had his eye on Zooey for a long time. And he's been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together.
'He thinks she's hysterically funny and cute, too. He loves her quirky sense of humor, and thinks they'd be great together both on-and off-screen. There's a real spark there.'
However, while Zooey is said to be 'intrigued' by Russell's interest in her, the insider added: 'But she's heard about his reputation as a womanizer, and isn't sure whether she's ready to rush into another relationship so quickly.'
Zooey is also apparently 'very aware that she looks strikingly similar to Katy and has been mistaken for Katy by fans'.
Asked in a recent interview with Allure magazine if she minded being compared to Katy, Zooey replied: 'No, she's really pretty!'
American actress Zooey, 32, made a name for herself in movies such as Elf, Yes Man and 500 Days Of Summer.
But she has enjoyed something of a career revival of late thanks to her role in hit US TV show New Girl.
Zooey plays Jess in the programme, a quirky and eccentric teacher who finds herself some new friends after moving in with three male roommates following her split from her boyfriend.
Talking about the show recently, Zooey said that she wants to continue playing Jess 'for ever and ever'.
She added: 'Every time we rehearse, I have a great time because the writing is so good. I felt like they don’t make as many movies now as they used to.
'I know there’s just been a huge change in the movie industry, and I don’t know if I’ve ever read a role this good for myself. So I just had to jump on this opportunity because it’s an amazing one.'
Meanwhile, as Russell is linked to Zooey, Katy is being supported by her ex boyfriend Travie McCoy in the wake of the split.
He is quoted as telling the Daily Mirror: 'There will always be a connection between us. I’ll always be there for her.
'When you’ve been in a relationship like ours, you will always make time for that person.'
