The world
was anticipating her arrival for weeks and now we have the first snaps of Blue
Ivy Carter.
Dip It Low! Christina Milian slips
her fabulous figure in fitted purple dress with plunging mesh back;
Letting the
eye-popping attire do all the talking, the Dip It Low star kept her accessories
minimal by wearing a pair of plain black heels and some colourful bracelets on
her arm.
The
24-year-old reality star showed off a tiny baby bump in short black sequined
mini-skirt paired with a chic black satin camisole and black blazer.
She balanced
the low-cut neckline with a heavily bejeweled collar necklace and wore some
sparkly black stilettos.
She said:
'I'm heavily involved on Twitter, have always been involved with my Internet
fanbase and find that that's the best way to connect with the fans.
She told
MTV: 'This show is about music, it's about talent, and it's about this passion
and this dream of becoming a star.
Beyonce and
her husband Jay Z posted snaps of their adorable baby girl, who already has an
impressive full head of hair.
In one snap
the singer is seen smiling into the camera while she cradles her daughter in
her arms.
The proud
parents set up a blog that shows the intimate family snaps along with a
message.
It read: 'We
welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during
this beautiful time in out lives. The Carter Family.'
But it seems
Beyonce has been lavishly pampered by Jay-Z following the birth of their
firstborn last month, with the singer sporting a chunky piece of bling which
she was given as a 'push present'.
Her rapper
husband is believed to have bought the blue ring, in honour of their daughter's
name, in a tradition that sees new fathers reward the mother after she gives
birth to their child.
Ever the
fashionista, the large jewel was coordinated with Beyonce's blue nail polish as
she made her second public appearance since becoming a mother on January 7.
Her first
'stepping out' was the previous evening on Monday night as she showcased her
post-baby curves in a red Alice Temperley cocktail dress, which was undeniably
striking.
Who Looked More Bangin??
She has just
scored a job on the hit reality talent contest The Voice after not having a top
ten hit since 2004.
And
Christina Milian was well and truly back in the limelight last night as she
stepped on the red carpet at the Delta Air Lines Celebrates LA's Music Industry
event at The Getty House.
The
30-year-old paraded her fabulous figure in a fitted purple dress with daring
plunging mesh back.
She also
wore hair in high ponytail and neutral make-up on her complexion.
Christina
was joined by a handful of other stars at the event, including a pregnant
Kristin Cavallari.
She finished
off the sophisticated look with a Chanel handbag and platform stilettos.
Meanwhile
British singer Estelle looked gorgeous in a multi-toned grey pleated dress with
bright coral detailing.
Christina
has made no bones about how happy she is to be working on hit show The Voice.
With four of
the biggest names in music already working on the show as judges, viewers last
week were surprised to hear that she had joined the team.
The singer,
who has not had a top ten hit in the US since 2004 with Dip It Low, was
announced as the newest face to sign up for season two of the new series.
She is the
new social media correspondent for the show which we presume means she will
follow comments made by fans of the show via social network sites like Facebook
and Twitter.
She told MTV
News that she was excited to work on the show and got the gig because of her
active profile on Twitter.
'I got a
call one day and met up with everyone at NBC and the folks from 'The Voice,'
and next thing you know, a week later, I'm signing a contract and the following
week I'm working.'
Milian, who
still dreams of becoming a big star herself, is a huge fan of the show and has
watched it many times thinking that the contestants remind her of herself.
'Still to
this day, every day that I wake up, I have that same dream, so to be involved
with the show, [it's amazing] to watch what they incorporate and how the
coaches act as advisers and mentors to the artists and really truthfully help
them and push them and want them to be the best so they can win.'
She added:
'There have been so many moments where I've thought, 'That's me on that stage!
I remember that time.'
